Summer Camp Program 2024
NEW: we will offer Afficient Math and English program , a computerized, self-paced AI-powered program to students entering 3rd grade and up. This program aims to help students learn grade-level math, develop a strong foundation in reading comprehension, writing, language acquisition skills, and vocabulary, effectively improving their current GPA.
Our summer camp is open to students from rising K-6th grade and has a limit of 15 students per week. The teacher-student ratio is 1:8.
Registration forms received will be processed on a first come, first served basis until the sites reach capacity.
For 2024, we will have summer camp from August 5 to August 23

Location:
United Church at Chapel Hill
Daily Schedule (8:30am-5:30pm)
8:30am - 9:20am
Arrive, free reading, homework, Math and English practice, crafts, Chinese drum, singing (Chinese songs), game (lego, board games, etc).
9:30am - 11:45am
Outdoor activities: soccer, basketball, badminton, volleyball, jump rope, etc. Field trips: museums, botanic gardens, water/sewer plant, fire department, etc.
12:00pm - 1:00pm
Lunch (provided by the camp), optional: Math and English practice,
1:00pm - 5:00pm
Chinese classes ( Chinese Characters 中国文字,fables and idioms 寓言成语,historical story 历史故事,prominent historical figures and books 名人名著,historic resorts 名胜古迹,holidays and festival customs节日风俗,Chinese cuisine 中华美食,Chinese Art and Craft 手工艺术), Learn Chinese from songs, Art/Drawing classes, Math and English practice

Note
Before 8:30am, after 5:30pm optional extended care available, $5/10min.
Schedule may change due to weather condition.
Students are required to bring their own snacks.
Camp Fees
Weekly Tuition:
$275/student, lunch included.
$290/student with Afficient Math or English program enrolled
$300/student with both Afficient Math and English program enrolled
A one-time $50 registration fee is required at the time of registration.
(only one registration fee is needed for both summer camp and after school registration)
In addition, a $50 deposit is required for each week. Deposits are credited toward the total weekly fee. The balance of each week of camp is due on the first day of the week.

Late pick-up fee: For every 10 minutes after 5:30pm a late pick-up fee of $5 will be charged and paid to the teachers in duty.
