The American School of Asian Culture (ASAC) offers a high-quality after-school program for K–5 students at Ephesus Elementary School in Chapel Hill.
Our program combines academic support, enrichment, and creativity in a structured afternoon schedule designed to help students learn, grow, and stay engaged.

Program Options
Chinese Track
Our Chinese Track is ideal for families who want daily language learning in a supportive small-group setting.
Students receive:

Flexible Track (Chinese Optional)
For students who prefer a non-Chinese option, we offer a Flexible Track with:

This track gives families more flexibility while keeping students engaged in a meaningful afternoon program.

*Fee: $30/month (Church locations), $60/month (drop off to home, limited)

Note:

Regular school days (Mon-Fri): 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm of regular school days (scheduled by Chapel Hill/Carrboro school district); closed on the other days and days when public school dismisses earlier than normal time, and days CHCCS cancel all after school activities due to weather/emergency condition.

When CHCCS schools are closed due to weather conditions, ASAC after school will be closed. There is no refund for missed classes due to students’ absence or inclement weather.​

Students are required to bring their own snacks to after school.
Tuition
Registration will be confirmed after the registration form and fee are received.

**Annual registration fee: $50 (only one registration fee is needed for both summer camp and after school registration)
**Deposit: $100 (due at time of registration)

**Daily rate: $36 ​
For families with two or more children enrolled (full-time, non-Glenwood and Ephesus students only), the first child will pay the regular rate of tuition and siblings will receive a 10% discount.
